Application Guide
Please note that this is a SMALL portion of the vehicles which the White Night Light System will work on. There are literally thousands of vehicle models and years that will. The most common rule of thumb is that if you have at least 3/4 of an inch between the bottom of your bumper and the top of your hitch, then you're good to go!

An asterisk * indicates the light units that will work on each vehicle application. Sales will have to verify whether you have a 1-1/4" or 2" hitch receiver. The numbers refer to Notes at the bottom of the page.

White Night Installation Notes
Note 1 : The Fixed Mount unit #0004199 is designed to fit hitches with 2" receivers. This unit requires 3/4" of clearance between the top of the hitch receiver tube and the bottom of the vehicle's bumper. These units are open thru the center and allows the use of a 2" hitch insert for towing.
Note 2 : The Step Bumper Mount unit #0004196 is designed to mount to the bottom of a step type bumper on vehicles that do not have a receiver type hitch.
Note 3 : Requires the use of part #0004150 with the Fixed Mount light unit #0004199 for relocation of the Factory installed 7 pin trailer wiring plug. This relocation plate moves the plug to the left side of the light unit. 2007 Chevy/GMC New Body Style Pickup doesn't require a trailer wiring plug relocation plate as the plug is beside the license plate.
Note 4 : Requires the use of part #0004154 with the Fixed Mount light unit # 0004199 for relocation of the Factory installed 7 pin trailer wiring plug. This relocation plate moves the plug to the side of the light unit. 2007 Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL, Denali, Cadillac Escalade will have to use part #0004198 2" Insert Mount, as you cannot access the 7-pin trailer wiring plug with unit #0004199 Fixed Mount.
Note 5 : Requires the use of part #0004153 Trailblazer/Envoy/Bravada installation kit and the use of part #0004196 light unit. This kit mounts the light unit to the bottom of the hitch receiver tube and allows the use of a 2" hitch insert for towing. The bottom of the light unit is slightly above the bottom of the spare tire.
Note 6 : 1996 thru 2001 1500 series and 1996 thru 2002 2500, and 3500 series Ram pickups with "Factory Hitch" requires the use of part #0004151 with the Fixed Mount light unit #0004199 for relocation of the Factory installed 7 pin trailer wiring plug. This relocation plate moves the plug to the side of the light unit and turns the plug towards the rear of the vehicle instead of being sideways as it was from the factory. See Note : 11 for 2002 Ram Pickup installation.
Note 7 : 2000-2007 Factory Dakota hitch is too close to the bottom of the bumper for use of the Fixed Mount light unit #0004199. Customers will need to use our 2" Insert Mount light unit #0004198. Most aftermarket hitches do have the required 3/4" of clearance between the top of the hitch receiver tube and the bottom of the bumper for the #0004199 Fixed Mount light unit.
Note 8 : Requires the use of part #0004152 with the Fixed Mount light unit #0004199 for relocation of the factory installed 7 pin trailer wiring plug. This relocation plate moves the plug to the side of the light unit.
Note 9 : The Factory installed 7 pin trailer wiring plug will need to be moved to the side slightly for use of the Fixed Mount light unit #0004199.
Note 10 : The Fixed Mount light unit will work on hitches with 2" receivers only. Customer will need to use a 2" insert that is longer than most typical inserts. The insert needs to have 4-3/4" between the center of the pin hole and the heavy plate that the hitch ball mounts on. Some of these plates are straight and some are bent to allow for different height drops.
Explorers that have a hitch with the 1-1/4" hitch receiver will need to use the 1-1/4" Insert Mount light unit #0004197.
Note 11 : 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, and 2003-UP 1500 through 3500 Pickups with "Factory" hitch does NOT require the use of part #0004151 wiring plug relocation plate as the wiring plug is mounted in the bumper.
Note 12 : 2002- 2004 Ford F150-350 pickups with factory hitches will need to use our part #0004156 trailer wiring plug relocation plate to move the plug bracket over to the left about 1-1/4".
2004 through 2007 F-150 Pickups with factory hitch requires part #0004158 relocation plate. 2005-2007 Super Duty pickups with a Factory hitch do not require a trailer wiring plug relocation plate.
Note 13: 2005-2007 Dodge Durangos with a factory hitch will require the use of part #0004196 light unit and part #0004160 Installation Kit. This setup mounts the White Night light unit to the bottom of the hitch.
