This light unit mounts to the under the bumper 2" Factory receiver hitch tube with a u-bolt and is open thru the center to allow the use of a 2" hitch insert for towing. The White Night emblem in the center of the unit may be removed to allow the hitch insert to be inserted into the hitch receiver tube.

Part # 4196 Step Bumper Mount Light Unit
This light unit is to be used with Part # 4155 under hitch installation kit. This light kit will mount to the bottom of the hitch back towards the spare tire and will allow full access to the hitch for towing.

This kit is simple to install with no drilling involved. Allows full use of the hitch for towing. Can use our Part # 4149 PLUG N GO wiring adapter for an installation without having to do any wire splicing.

Part # 4149 PLUG N GO adapter
This adapter can be used for a installation of the White Night light uni without having to do any wire splicing. It inserts into a vehicle's 7- pin trailer wiring plug and has a 3-wire pigtail that plugs up to the light unit. This adapter has a flip up lid and socket for full 7- pin trailer hookup.

Part # 4198 2" Insert Mount light unit
This light unit has a 2" stainless steel tube mount that is inserted into the vehicle's 2" receiver hitch and secured with a hitch pin. This light unit can be used on applications where towing is not a priority as it will have to be removed from the hitch when ever the hitch is used for towing. Can be used when fifth wheel or gooseneck towing is primary towing method.

Part # 4196 Step Bumper Mount Light Unit
This light unit is to be used on vehicles that have a step type rear bumper and do not have a receiver type hitch under the bumper. The light unit mounts to the bottom of the step type bumper and can be attached by using a trailer ball or by bolting to the bumper.

Aftermarket Hitch Applications

Our Fixed Mount light unit, Part # 4199 will fit most aftermarket hitches. As there are may different designs of hitches it is hard for us to list each one. In order for the light unit to fit there must be between 3/4" and 1" of clearance between the top of the hitch tube and the bottom of the bumper. The light dimensions are 4" tall x 4" deep x 15-1/2" long.
